On August 22 at 7PM, Electronic Music Collective is excited to be hosting a special FREE workshop to discuss and learn everything new with Bitwig 3.0! Electronic musician, producer, and programmer, Thavius Beck will be co-hosting the event and walking us through the software. Even if you’re not a Bitwig user, this workshop will help you understand the basic components of a synthesizer including oscillators, filters, ADSR, Amp Envelopes, LFOs and more.

Bitwig Studio has announced a recent game changing update. It now includes new modular synth, ‘The Grid’, and an updated version of Ableton LINK. ‘The Grid’ supports up to 154 modules, and is designed for an incredibly quick workflow.

In Bitwig 3.0, The Grid allows you to create your own instruments and effects and is a great tool for learning sound design. The Grid comes with special devices called ‘Poly Grid’ and ‘FX Grid’ which allow you to stack voices and add effects to your sounds.

Check out more of what Bitwig 3.0 has to offer here.

Thavius Beck has an extensive background as a working producer, music educator, and musician. Beck has worked with artists like Nine Inch Nails, Saul Williams, and Skylar Grey.

Bring your questions about the new Bitwig update. Beck will be happy to answer them. We look forward to seeing you at Electronic Music Collective!
